The participation of Predict
Predict will participate in the event of the World Trade Center in Dubai as an exhibitor inside stand C52-Z2, a space reserved by the Apulia Region for five Apulian companies. Predict will present three innovative solutions: Aphel, Mistral and Optip.
Aphel is a humanoid robot capable of relating to the patient, improving its experience within a healthcare facility such as the waiting room of a hospital or outpatient clinic. This technology is designed to carry out, in a pleasant way for users, a large amount of routine tasks, allowing the nursing staff to fully dedicate themselves to patient care, recovering precious time today absorbed by these repetitive tasks.
Optip is an integrated remote communication system that allows holopresence and real-time interaction between two users, through the exchange of complex information contents (videos, documents, graphic signs) visible in the form of holograms. The fields of application of this sophisticated augmented reality system are still to be explored …
Mistral is a device patented by Predict for the early and non-invasive diagnosis of neoplasms through breath analysis. The technology is based on some recent research on breath analysis carried out by scientists at the University of Bari. Through a simple breath, Mistral is able to diagnose different pathologies (at the moment, the focus is on colorectal cancer and mesothelioma, but the team has been developing other areas of application).
For Predict, taking part in this international event represents a great opportunity for discussion and exchange of ideas with other innovative operators from all over the world. In recent years, the Apulian company has participated in the Gitex 2019 in Dubai (reaching the final in the Super Nova Challenge competition with Optip) and the 2018 Breath Summit in Maastricht.
